Wanna know more about his backstory? Let's hear it from himself!
"My name is Lud Bradley and I’m a Venezuelan tattoo artist with over 10 years in the industry, and I am the owner of Avalon Tattoo & Art Collective.
I wasn’t trying to be a tattoo artist, I guess tattooing found me. I was getting tattooed one day and my wife (who was my girlfriend at the time) told me that I should try it, she said “you would probably be good at it, because your drawings are pretty”. I refused, but she insisted and bought my first tattoo machines as my birthday present. As soon as I turned on those machines, I knew, tattooing was what I was supposed to be doing. I found myself obsessed with it, and by month 3, I was already in a shop. I have to say i wish I would have been mentored from the beginning that would have made my journey easier
At the beginning I didn’t have a sense of direction on what I wanted to do or what style I wanted to do but as my career advanced i have looked up to a lot of artists and i have gotten inspired by many. As i evolve as an artist, I find myself leaning to a very mixed style of techniques and compositions. This style has been very influenced by Waler Montero, Darwin Enriquez, Roberto Carlos, Carlos Torres and Hernan Yepes , their techniques, compositions and ways to put a piece together are the reason my tattoos look like they do today.
I have been in more than 50 conventions in the last 8 years, and I’ve been awarded for my work more than 30 times in shows both inside and outside of Canada.
I currently have 2 apprentices, and I'm also working on teaching private and online seminars and workshops."
